Choice 1: DUBAI / UNITED ARAB EMIRATES / OMAN SULTANATE

Day 1: Montreal – Dubai

Departure from Montreal airport. Flights to Dubai.

Day 2: Dubai

Arrival in Dubai. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 3: Dubai

Dubai City Tour, Burj El Arab, Jumairah Mosque, Al Fahidi Museum, Souk. In the afternoon, Desert Safari 4×4 including a B.B.Q. Night in Dubai. B/D

Day 4: Dubai – Al Ain- Dubai

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the visit of the city of Al Ain, the Museum, the Old Palace of Sheikh Zayed. Dinner in a local restaurant. Back to Dubai. B / L

Day 5: Dubai – Fujairah

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Al Dhaid Oasis, Friday Market, Al Badyiah Mosque, the oldest mosque in the Emirates. Continue to Fujairah. Overnight in Fujairah. B

Day 6: Fujairah

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. B/D

Day 7: Fujairah-Muscat

Breakfast at the hotel. Cross the border towards Oman. Visit the city of Sohar, continue to Rustaq, then Wadis and Oasis Nakhl and Ain Thowaram. Continue to Muscat. Dinner in a local restaurant. B/D

Day 8: Muscat

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the embassy district in Muscat to reach the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a splendor of Islamic architecture, followed by a stop at the Omani Museum to discover its cultural and traditional riches. Walk on the cornice and shop in the old souk (jewelry, silverware, perfumes and souvenirs). Take the road the day before to reach the old city of Muscat. Walk along the Sultan’s Palace and the forts Jalali and Mirani. The rest of the day is free. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. B/D

Day 9: Muscat

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the city of Quriyat known for its beautiful beaches. Continue to Sinkhole, part of the mountain filled with water from the sea. Continue to Tiwi and wadi Shab. Picnic dinner on the way. Night in Muscat B/D

Day 10: Muscat – Dubai

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Dubai. Night in Dubai. B

Day11: Dubai

Breakfast at the hotel. Free to admire the beautiful beach. Night in Dubai. B

Day 12: Dubai – Montreal Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Dubai airport for for the return flight.  B

Choice 2: UNITED ARAB EMIRATES / OMAN SULTANATE

Day 1: Abu Dhabi

Arrival in Abu Dhabi. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 2: Abu Dhabi

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the visit of a craft center. Continue to the Al-Husn Palace, the oldest building in the city. Visit of the oil exhibition. Walk on the famous cornice to the shipyard where wooden fishing boats are still made according to the traditional method. In the afternoon, continue along the coast to Dubai via Jumeira Beach, and visit the Jumeira Mosque. Night at the hotel. B

Day 3: Sharjah

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the city tour. Continuation to the restored city of Sharjah and Al Naboodah visit the museum of culture and heritage, old souk Al Arsa and the old renovated fort. Stop at the port, Al Majarra Souk, New Gold Center and Souk Al Markazi, the handicraft and carpet market. Return to the hotel. In the afternoon tour of Dubai the golden city: Taking pictures at the former residence of the Emirs. Visit the Dubai museum, walk in the old city and board the water taxis to get to the spice market. Stop at the Gold Souk to shop and finish with a ride in the modern city. Night at the hotel. B

Day 4: Dubai – Al Ain

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Al Ain, an oasis town at the foot of the mountains. Stop at the camel market, visit the archaeological and ethnographic museum of Al Ain. Night at the hotel. B

Day 5: Al Ain – Rustaq – Al Sawadi

Breakfast at the hotel. Cross the border with the Sultanate of Oman. Arrival in Sohar where was born Sindbad the sailor. Visit the fish market and the old fort of the city, through Rustaq to discover its picturesque dry rivers. Picnic lunch en route, arriving at Al Sawadi in the evening. Night at the hotel. B / L

Day 6: Nizwa, Jebel Akhdar Center (Green Mountain)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Western Hajar Mountains through Fanjah Oasis and Birkat Al Mouz. Visit the Weekly Flock Market, the traditional Souk and the impressive 17th century fort. Free lunch in Nizwa. In the afternoon along Bahla fort being renovated by Unesco. The highlight of the day will be visiting Jabrreen Castle, the most beautiful fort in Oman. Arrival in Muscat in the evening. Night at the hotel. B

Day 7: Muscat

Breakfast at the hotel.
